Product Overview: ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) Cable
ADSS fiber optic cable features a stranded loose tube design. Inside, 250μm optical fibers sit in high-modulus loose tubes filled with waterproof compounds. These tubes, along with filler rods, are stranded around a non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) central strength member to form a compact, robust core. Water-blocking yarn and tape fill the gaps to ensure moisture resistance, while aramid yarn adds extra tensile strength. The outer sheath—made from polyethylene (PE) or anti-tracking (AT) material—makes the cable ideal for aerial installations in power transmission and telecom networks.
