ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) Cable features a stranded loose tube design, with 250μm optical fibers housed in high-modulus loose tubes filled with waterproof compounds. These tubes, along with filler rods, are twisted around a non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) central strength member, forming a compact cable core. Water-blocking yarn and tape fill the core gaps, and aramid yarn provides reinforcement. The cable is finished with a polyethylene (PE) or anti-tracking (AT) outer sheath, ideal for aerial installations in power and telecom networks.
