Water-blocking gel fills both the loose tubes and the core to prevent water ingress. For added protection, some models include an extruded PE layer around the reinforced core. Tightly stranded loose tubes and filler rods create a compact core, which is then wrapped in APL and enclosed in a durable PE sheath. This ensures long-term stability in diverse outdoor conditions.
